Sunday was a beautiful day, so Tim and I took the boys to the pool for the first time. Getting ready was the hard part. It took us a while to get everything ready, the diapers, milk, swim diapers, and sun screen both all of us. I am sure we forgot something, but I can't remember now. It took them about 10 minutes to get used to the water but after that they loved it. Once the water started getting warmer to them they started splashing around. We were so glad, they were so easy to entertain. They loved their new rafts, but I really didn't, they seem like they would just flip over if you would let them go. They fell asleep after playing for about an hour, which gave Tim and I some time to hang out and get a tan.
I had an unltrasound today for the new babies. I scheduled it on a Thursday so Tim would be able to go. Thanks mom for babysitting the boys while we were gone. Both babies are doing really good and growing a lot. They were moving the entire time during the ultrasound. Baby 'A' is estimating 1lb 13oz and baby 'B' is estimating 1lb 15oz. These are really good sizes for the babies. In the pregnancy books it says the babies should be about 1.5lbs right now. If the weights are right then they are a little bigger, which is really good. I go see Dr. Hahn next Friday for a check up and for my sugar test. That stuff is nasty. I hope I pass because I really don't want to do the 3 hr test. I think I have 1 more 4 week visit and then I have to start going every 2 weeks.Thursday, June 4, 2009

Schools out for Summer!!!!!
My job officially ended for the summer on Friday 5/29. I wanted to go to the pool so bad that day, but I had a lot of loose ends on the last day.
When the boys start to get crabby and I can't find much to entertain them, I put them in one bed and let them play together. They always do really good and start talking to each other. Tim and I love to stand by the door sometimes and just listen to them laugh at each other.
Saturday, I wanted to wash the boys cloths and some of their sheets, especially since Michael wet through to his mattress pad. We gave them baths and fed them breakfast, but the wash was not finished yet, so they were both able to sleep in Matt's bed. It was so cute, they haven't slept in the same bed since they were newborns.
Then we went to Tim's cousin Mychaela's birthday party at T-Time off of Lemay Ferry. Tim was able to get a snow-cone and ride the go-carts. The boys just sat around while their dad played. We then went to Kelly Korte's wedding. I was the DD of course, but I still had a lot of fun. How can you not have fun when your whole family is there to keep you company?
Kelly was our babysitter and she also had Cory and Libby with her. She had her hands full with all of the kids, but we knew she could handle them all.

Exhausting week :(
This week has been really exhausting. Since Danielle is in Jamaica at Toni's wedding, Tim's mom and Diona babysat the boys Mon, Tues, Wed. They all had a good time. I am really glad that they got to spend some quality time with Grandma and Aunt Diona. We went to the Cardinals game twice this week. (Tuesday and Wednesday) We had a lot of fun. Tuesday our school yearbook company provided the tickets and Wednesday it was part of our plan. We finally SWEPT the cubs.
Wednesday on the way to the game our Focus broke down about 1 mile down our street. It probably couldn't have happened during a better week b/c we had an extra car with Chrissy and Jim being in Jamaica.
Friday was the 8th grade celebration. I picked up the boys after school and took them back to decorate with me, we left at 5:30 and I was back there by 6:45 waiting for our students to arrive. They all looked very nice in their dresses and suites. I finally got home about 9:30. I was exhausted.
Saturday, Tim went to Greg's bachelor party out in Lesterville. I had the boys by myself, but they were really good. We went to church with Jackie, Bill and Billy. After church I came home fed the boys and they went to sleep.
We haven't taken too many pictures this week but I have a few.

Dinner Time
Today was a very long day. First I had a doctors appointment with Dr. Hahn and then we had Matt's ultrasound on his head. It was really hard since they were both tired and crabby. The doctor will call me with the results.
Tim came home from work and we started cooking dinner. I want to start eating dinner before 7pm. We have a habit of feeding the kids around 6:30/7:00 and then we eat dinner about 8/8:30. We had some grilled chicken, mac & cheese and rice. Since we wanted to eat early we decided to feed the kids the same thing. They did they really good and didn't make too much of a mess.

Finally a post of the boys
The boys are getting into everything lately. We can not keep our house clean for anything. Every time we turn around we stepped on a Gerber Grad. puff or the boys have something in their mouth. They have been noticing each other for a little over a month now.
Every morning Tim and I get up and start getting ready. Tim gets the boys dressed while I get ready for work. When he is finished changing them and putting cloths on them they start to crawl around in the hallway following me up and down as I am getting ready.
I turned in my last paper tonight for my Graduate degree. I am finished. I graduate on Friday, May 15th. I can't wait. We are going to have a little celebration at school because 4 of us on the 8th grade floor are graduating that night. Now I have a little more time to work on my disaster of a house.
They like to beat up on each other also, first it was Matt getting Michael with the toys and now Tim got proof of Mike beating up Matt.
