Katie's Bachelorette Party

Hopefully, I am getting everything in the right order and some of this is really old, but I need it for my own documentation.

June 5, 2010

Around noon we went to Janie's house for a pre-party. Great food and drinks. We then headed to the cardinal game and had a lot of fun. It was really sunny and hot. Tim had the kids all day so I enjoyed myself with all adults. After the Cardinal game we stopped to get some pizza and then went back to Janie's house for the after party. The party then moved to Katie and Cory's house so that is when I ended up going home.

I went over to Chrissy and Jim's house on Saturday 5/29. The boys had a blast playing with their cousins. They get along so good playing on the swing set and in the castle. Dan and Chris sat and played by the tree the whole time. They didn't cry at all. I laid Chris down with his pacifier and he fell asleep outside.

Things are finally coming together!

Finally, things are starting to get settle with the kids. Friday was their last day of daycare until August 2nd. I will be home for 8 weeks with 4 wonderful boys. I am going to have to make some plans though because I can not sit inside the house with them day in and day out. I want to plan at least 1 thing every week. I think it might be okay to take them to the park myself since Dan and Chris can sit in their stroller.

I love being off. I was able to get about 2-3 done while the kids were in their last days of daycare. I went to see Sex and the City 2 with Chrissy, Janie, Danielle and a few girls from work. It was good, but it was really long..It probably seemed a lot longer since it was a midnight showing.

Now that daycare is over, I bet my kids will be very healthy. Not that it was the daycare, they just wanted to get sick when I couldn't take off any days of work. Dan and Chris are getting on their hands and knees and rocking. They want to take off so bad but can't. Dan can get into a sitting position from laying on the ground. Chris can't because his is too fat. Dan is wearing 18 mos and Chris is wearing 24 mos and he is moving up to a size 5 diaper. I am keeping Dan in 4's because they still fit and it is cheaper.

This is the first non-maternity dress that I have worn since I found out I was pregnant with Matt and Mike, December 2007. We had our 8th grade celebration dance yesterday. It was so nice all of our students looked great. Some teachers dressed up and some did not. I took this as an opportunity to buy something new.

The weather was pretty good last week. I like taking the boys outside as much as possible. They love to run around and it also makes things a lot easier when they are tired early. Katie D. comes over with her kids so they all can play together and then it takes some of the stress off of us both. It may seem a little weird to add 2 more kids into the mix, but it actually makes it easier on both Katie and I. Well except for yesterday when Libby wouldn't stop crying...Enjoy the pictures.

Hey, Mr. Christer

Christopher cut his first tooth on Sunday 4/18/2010. He really hasn't been that crabby, but I guess that explains why he was sent home from Daycare with 104.6 fever. Jane picked him up around 8:30 and since he couldn't go back on Friday, my mom watched him. He did not have a fever all night and then Saturday right when Mo and the girls got to the house it spiked again. 103.1..Usually, fevers do not run that high when a baby is teething but I guess I will just call it that. He is feeling fine now, laughing and playing with his brothers. Mo and her girls took them for a walk the other day around the neighborhood. I have to laugh because I know how many looks she got using that stroller. I need to buy a hitch for the van so I can take the stroller with us when we go to Nashville, TN. I can't wait to see Jackie and the girls. Only 27 more days of school.
