Thank You!!!! and some updates

Tim and I would like to thank all of our family and friends for helping us the last two weeks. We couldn't have done it without all of you. Thank you to all of you that have come over the house and helped me when I couldn't move around very good and taking me to the hospital to see Daniel. Becky and Ray that you so much for taking the Matthew and Michael to stay at your house and letting Tim spend time in the hospital with me and the new babies. I know I am emotional right now, but I am starting to tear up just writing this and thinking how blessed we are to have our family and friends. Mom thank you for coming over at all hours of the night and taking me to my appointments. The dinners are greatly appreciated you can keep them coming when ever you all feel like cooking. If I listed everyone's name on here it would make it a very, very long post.

The day I came home from the hospital we placed the new babies in their brand new cribs that Me-maw and Paw-paw bought for them. Thank you so much.

They love their couches, but they still want to sit on the same one and fight.

A long list of updates (old and over due)

9/05/09 Saturday Morning the nursery nurse came in and said that Daniel had an episode of not breathing. She said they put him on a monitor for an hour and he didn't do it again. Around 4 o'clock pm my mom was visiting and I didn't feel good. I was shivering so much and I didn't know why, the air was on 73 and everyone else thought it felt good. My nurse gave me my medication and took my temperature. (100.8) I was so tired that I told my mom I wanted to take a nap and asked her if she would feed the boys. She fed both boys and Daniel ate the most he ever has, almost 2 fl oz. They took both boys back to the nursery. My nurse came back in 1 hr later and took my temp again and it was 102.4. They called Dr. Hahn and he ordered some tests and put me on a broad range of antibiotics. My fever finally broke, so I decided to walk to the nursery to give a supply of milk to the nurses and only Chris was there, they had taken Daniel to NICU North. I really didn't know what was going on.

9/06/09 Sunday morning the pediatrician came in and said that Chris had an episode of not breathing so they moved him down with Daniel. We still really didn't know what was going on. I was feeling better until 3:30 in the afternoon when I got another fever. That but me back another day from going home.

Monday 9/07/09 Chris was doing a lot better and I was told he will be able to come home when I came home, but Daniel still needed to stay.

Tuesday9/8/09 Chris and I came home to the rest of our family. I was crying when I leaving Daniel at the hospital and I was crying when I got home to see Matthew and Michael.

Wednesday 9/9/09 was a good day. Tim was home all day and then he had to go to school. Jane made a quick dinner and took care of me and 3 boys at home. After putting the older boys to bed we were talking about how Daniel had no visitors today and then I had a melt down. She got on her phone and called Ken. He and Jackie came right over to babysit and Jane took me to the hospital. Thank you so much, it made my night. What would I ever do without my family? Daniel was off of the oxygen and feeding tube and he was drinking from a bottle.

Thursday 9/10/09 was a good day to, my mom came over later in the night and watch the 3 boys so Tim and I could go feed Daniel at the hospital. Well they let him drink what he wanted so it got his feedings off schedule. No big deal we still got to hold are little prince. I asked the nurse when she thought he would get to go home and she said not to quote her but Saturday or Sunday.

Friday 9/11/09- All 3 boys were sleeping so Tim and I decided to take a nap too. Well in the middle of our nap we got a phone call from St. John's NICU. They asked if we were ready to add another little one to the mix. Daniel was ready to come home. I started crying and made a ton of phone calls. Our family was going to be complete.

More pictures of our beautiful babies!

As you all know we went into the hospital to have the babies on Wednesday September 2, 2009. We dropped Matt and Mike over Danielle's house and then went to Saint Johns for delivery. They started prepping me right away with an I.V and then an epidural. The epidural hurt so bad, she had to try it several times. Finally, she had me sit in an upright position and it went right in. When I was laying down on my side trying to curl up in a ball my nose started bleeding. The surgery went well and we are both very happy with the two additions to our family.

The last 3 week ends

We have been pretty busy the last couple of weeks. We had the family reunion and Libby's baptism the weekend after the boys 1st birthday party.

Aug. 1st Becky and Ray had a family BBQ that was also a surprise diaper party for the new babies. I was surprised until we got into the parking lot, which is great. We received so many diapers and a few outfits for the new comers. Thank you everyone that was able to come and for the wonderful gifts.

Look at all of those diapers......We are set for a while.

Me and Tim

I figured Tim should open some of the gifts too, they are his babies and he will be changing a lot of poopy diapers.

Matt was helping us open presents.

Are you exhausted? What a long day.....

That next Monday, I had to go back to work. Not my favorite thing to do. The meetings were very informational, but it was really hard to sit there for 4 days straight. The next weekend was even more busy, we had a wedding shower, a 30th birthday and a 2nd birthday party to go to. Becky and Ray kept the boys over night Saturday. Thank you so much.

Matt was so happy that day and then he wanted to the strap to the camera, so he was running towards me.

Michael was playing couch commando with the remote

The boys were excited to watch their show on their new couches. They really don't sit together much on the same couch, they usually fight over it.

This weekend was just as busy, but we had a lot of fun. Tim and I we together the entire weekend doing things together, with and without the boys. These are the new sunglasses that they got in the goody bags from the birthday party last weekend.

Matt

Matt-man just chillin

Michael

He looks like a little bug in the glasses, but he is our cute lil' bug.

So to finish off the weekend, we went to Billy's 9th birthday party. The guys took all of the boys to see the horses. I have no pictures of the birthday boy.

Matt laughing at the horse.

He liked to pet the horse too.

They really like it.

Michael couldn't get enough

Sully was kissing the horse.
