Kids and House Updates

I am on Spring Break this week and I am trying to get a lot done but it is really not happening. I painted the kids room, had the hardwood refinished and bought Matt and Mike new twin mattresses. I can't wait until it is all finished. I still need ot buy closet doors and have Billy put them in and put the baseboard back up. Little by little the house is looking better.
All the boys are doing great. They are getting so big. They make me so proud everyday, they also make me laugh everyday too. The things they say, I can't help laughing. Chris's favorite thing right now is to give kisses. He will come up to me and say, "I want kisses," and I will give him kisses, then he will run away and then come back saying, "I want rubby noses kisses." Sometimes he will do this for 10 minutes. Danny wants to do everything on his own. "No mom, I do it myself." Little brat....really I can get it done faster....lol...Michael loves to dance. Everytime music is on the tv, radio, phone etc...He dances. It is very funny. Everything Matt sees or heres he absorbs. He got made at me the other day and started crying. He yelled at me, "see mom, see what you did, you made me cry and now your getting on my nerves." I wonder where he got that from...!!!! We went to Disney on Ice Thursday 3/22/2012 and he loved it. He was so excited when the skaters wrapped their hands around the cloths and were lifted into the air.

Matthew & Michael's 3rd birthday

We celebrated Matt & Mike's birthday with family and friends. We started the day at Bread Co. of course with my friends from work and their kids & then headed to Tilies Park for the splash pad. Later that night we had a few friends and family over to sing to the boys. I can't believe that my boys are 3 years old.

DyeIng EaSter EgGs!!

Friday 4/22/2011 daycare was closed and I was off work. I spent the entire day with the kids and was able to get a lot of things done around the house. They were so good. Matt and Mike actually took naps in their bed. I was happy about that. We dyed eggs when they woke up and then they went straight into the bathtub to get the dye off their hands. Danny had it the worst. They had a good time.

Since he didn't have the tool to get it out his hands worked great.

Cheese!...That his favorite word besides 'NO'

Michael

He was really good at using the tool. They need to put more than one in a box.

Matt was trying to be so clean

His hands were more pink than the eggs

Danny always so happy to make a mess

Danny tried stealing all the eggs.

Cardinals Game with Matt & Mike

Tuesday 4/5/2011, I took Matt and Mike to their 1st Cardinals game of the season. Since my school will be singing the National Anthem this coming August they offered us free tickets for Monday and Tuesday night. I took Tuesday night because I knew family would be there with season tickets. I bought the boys new CaRDinaL shirts for the game. When I picked them up from daycare they were so to have new shirts and to be going to the game. Lisa came over around 6:30 to babysit Danny and Chris til Kelly was able to get there.

Matt breaking open the peanuts

The back of their new shirts. (Michael) They can also tell you that it is the number 5!
When we got to the game the boys were so amazed. They were so good and had so much fun. They played a lot with Uncle Ken watching him throw peanuts up in the air and catch them in his mouth. It was the coolest thing to them. They even started to help Uncle Ken crack open the shell to get the peanut out first. They are really smart. When we noticed what they were doing it was a little to late, Ken had already eaten a few. They would both set the peanut on the ground, step on it a little until it cracked and then they would pick it up and give Ken the peanut that was inside.

He had to catch that one with his hand

Eating and Playing at the game

We only had to use the restroom 3 times during the game, NOT to bad....but the third time we went was right when we got back from the second time. Matt had to go poop...Really he couldn't tell me that when we were in there. Of course he didn't go. We won the game 3-2 and watched the fireworks at the end. Matt and Mike liked them this year. Last year they were really scared.

We did get their kids crew card stamped and they received their Ryan Franklin duffle bag, wrist bands, lanyard, bobble head tooth brush holder and other things. Matt loved the wrist bands especially when Uncle Ken put some change in the zipper pouch for him. It was a great time, I am so glad it is CaRdiNaL season again.

Me and My big boys enjoying the cardinal game. Micheal was being silly! (his favorite word)
