Finally, nothing really planned

This weekend was the first weekend in a long time that Tim and I really didn't have much to do. Friday night we had our last baseball game of the season. We haven't been since the week of July 4th. We took the boys for their first game. They were really good. Michael slept for a lot of it and Matt fussed for a little while. We had a good time and the Cardinals even won. The boys must be good luck. Thanks to Jane, Ken and Carmen for holding the babies.

Saturday we had nothing planned. Grandma Becky came over twice in one day and the second time she brought grandpa Ray with her. She just couldn't get enough of them, especially since she didn't get to babysit this past Thursday. Tim finished painting the basement and finally got to hang his tv on the wall, while I tried to straighten up the upstairs. I didn't get very far with it.Yes, the Xbox 360 is back down stairs. That also includes all of the games, the drums and the 2 guitars. Now we have more room for another baby item. At night I tried to scrap a few pages, but I only got 1/2 finished with each of their new born pictures. After that I started to make my Christmas list. I know it is early, but if I don't write it down now I will forget when everyone asks me what I want.

Michael decided to hold his pacifier instead of sucking on it

Sunday I went to Chrissy's to scrap and I finished the new born pages and then I was really tired. It took me about and hour to put their names on the pages. I came home with the babies just to hear them cry for both me and Tim. Oh yeah, they are starting to stay awake more but they are also starting to cry more, especially at night when we are ready to go to bed. Can I start cereal before 3 months? We really need to get some sleep. It's a good thing that we finally got to do nothing. This month there is something planned for at least one day of each weekend this month.

Okay I have been trying to post this for a few days now, but I went back to work and I have been very busy. This past weekend was packed with events. Friday and Saturday was my 10 year high school reunion. Sunday was our family reunion on my dads side and then we went to see Pearl Heart.

I think this is the first picture I have of Cory since him and Katie have been together.

2 month check up

We had a check up with Dr. Murphy on Monday morning and our babies are getting big. Matthew weighed 10lbs 120z and 22 1/4 inches long. Michael weighed 11 lbs 1 oz and 22 1/4 inches. He said the boys should be getting on a schedule and eating 6-8 ounces a feeding. If this doesn't help them sleep through the night then we can start feeding them cereal at 3 months.

The boys are starting to smile more now, but it is hard to capture the moment when I am by myself trying to get them to smile and taking the picture. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of days.

Look what Tim found

Tim was scanning in some pictures the other day and he found this ultrasound picture. Now I think the bottom one is labeled wrong. Can you tell which baby is which?

HAPPY 70TH BIRTHDAY AUNT SHIRLEY!

Aunt Shirley
Saturday, we went to Lisa and Jerry's to celebrate Aunt Shirley's 70th birthday. It took us a while to get out of the house. We knew that we would be there for a while so I was not able to pack lightly. Aunt Shirley was surprised by her sister Sue who came down from Ohio to celebrate with her.

We took lots of pictures of people holding the babies, but we missed some. Something I realized when I got home. The babies were pretty good, but they did have a short episode of crying. Thank you everyone for giving me and Tim some time to enjoy the party by taking care of our precious babies.

Last Day at the Pool

Tim and I joined Jane and Ken at the pool on Monday. This was my 4th time all summer long. Next summer the boys better like the water, if not I am going to have to save a lot of money for a babysitter. We had a lot of fun we all went down the side a few times.
