Christmas Break update

Michael rolled over for the first time on Tuesday 12/30. He rolled over two times in a row from back to stomach. I was so happy I had to call Tim right away. For the most part they have been really good over my break. I have been trying to take a lot of pictures, but now I need to get them printed. I can't believe that it is almost over. I did not do much over break. I did go scrap booking last night with Chrissy, Danielle, Kelly Davis over Nancie's house in Illinois. Thank you for having us out.

Matt and Mike's First Christmas

Christmas was really busy for the boys. We celebrated with Tim's family on Saturday 12/20 at Missy's apartment. We had a great time. The boys were really great and they received a lot of great presents. I think Tim and I need a bigger house already.

Christmas morning Tim and I woke up around 7:30. We had to wake the boys up so we could get started on our presents. Becky, Ray and Diona came over about 9 and we ate the great breakfast that Tim cooked. (Bacon, sausage and pancakes) The boys were spoiled by Mee-Maw and Paw-Paw. They bought them some clothes, toys, and 2 race car walkers. More items to fill up my house. I think we need a bigger one already. Tim and I were also spoiled, we got a lot of things too. I already used my Michael's gift card to register for cake decorating classes. They start next week.

We then traveled to moms house to exchange gifts with everyone. Our whole family received a lot of things. Mike and Matt got money, toys and clothes. My mom got us a sewing machine (it's what we both wanted, and now mom has to teach us how to use it). I don't have any pictures at my moms. We left the camera at home. Hopefully everyone will upload so I can get some. (Hint hint.....................please)

Random Pics and babies sleeping

So I have been told when I was little I would fall asleep anywhere and I could sleep in any clothing I had on. I think that my kids take after me. I saw Michael sleeping in his jump-a-roo and I had to take a picture.

Santa Pics

The boys opened their Saint Nick gifts in bed. Well actually Tim opened it but we wanted to capture it. They both got a long sleeve blue onesie.

We went to see Santa twice this past weeks. We went to see Santa at Hazelwood Central High School with parents as teachers and then we went to breakfast with Santa at Jane and Ken's church.

I love to take pictures of the babies but I am a slacker on posting them. I try to do my own photo shoots. It is getting easier to get them to both look at me and smile (a little)

Trip to Nashville

Tim and I packed up the boys and went to Nashville for the night with Jane, Ken, Mom, Kelly, Jenny, Jackie, Maryann and Rick. Pearl Heart was opening for Jeffrey Steele at a bar called 3rd and Lindsey. We arrive at the hotel about 12:30. The boys were great the whole way down. They didn't start crying until they got hungry around 11:30. We walked down Broadway and then went to lunch. They were great for us but the babysitters had a very hard night. We wanted to stay until the end of the concert but Tim and I went out Friday night and only got 5 hours of sleep. I was so exhausted I had 2 beers during the day when we were walking around and then I had 2 beers at the bar around 7pm. We didn't leave until 11 so I am sure I was okay. They cried all night for the sitters and they cried a little on the way home. It was hard for Tim and I to be in a car for 5 hours I couldn't even image sitting in a car seat for that long.

Finally, the dues that I pay to have my license plate paid off. I let Tim drink at the bar so I drove. When we left the bar, I was a little confused at a stop light. Needless to say I ran it. Right when I went under the the light a cop flashed his lights. Damn it, I knew exactly what I did. He sat in his car for awhile, probably running my plates. When he came up to my window he asked me for the normal things and said, "Your license plate is funny. I like that." I asked him if it was funny enough to not give me a ticket. He laughed and said, "I think so." Tim couldn't believe that I said that. He asked me a few questions about what was going on and I told him I had to pick up our babies about 30 min. away.
