Matt and Mike's First Haircut

The boys got their first haircut on Sat. 7-25-09. They were really good. Michael of course, moved around a lot more than Matthew, but they were both really good. Our two big boys look a little older now. Well Matthew does at least, Michael still looks the same.

Saturday we had a big birthday party for the boys. Tim and I were both a little stressed out. The chicken took a little longer than expected and I forgot to start the potatoes on time. Overall, everything was fine. Thank you to everyone that came and wished our boys a happy birthday and for all of the gifts.

The boys were really good that day. They were able to take a short nap while everyone ate and then we woke them up to sing and eat cake.

Since Tim was in Tunica and I was home by myself with the boys, I had to do anything to get them to shut up. They were so bad on Monday and even a little on Sunday night. I was ready for him to come home. Tuesday they were great. I don't know what happened. I was so upset that Greg came over to keep me company and brought me ice cream.

All Star Fan Fest

Tim and I took the boys down to fan fest. It was a lot of fun, but very very long. We were there for 4 hours. I was probably more tired than the boys. They were pushed in the strollers the whole time while I was walking. The only money we spent was on food/soda and that cost us $30. We tried to take a lot of pictures, I looked like a cow in the first family one we took, so I decided to just take them of the boys.

There was a photo booth so we decided to hold the boys up to take a picture.

When I was getting a soda, Tim was watching the kids play with each other. They kept touching their feet together and laughing.

Matt is starting to take more steps. Yesterday he walked across the majority of the kitchen. He is so funny, when he is walking towards you he starts to go sideways towards something else. He is starting to get more teeth, right before his birthday, which sucks because he is getting every symptom with it. We have pictures tomorrow and he is getting a runny nose.

Michael is starting to walk really fast, but still a little clumsy. He tries to walk with his bottle in his mouth and he will fall down and hurt himself.

Their birthday party is this Saturday, so if you are coming, I forgot to write on the invite to bring lawn chairs. We don't have a lot of seating.

Matt's Taking STEPS and New baby info

So Matt-man is starting to take some steps. He took 3 steps for my mom and Tim yesterday and more for me today. Ignore how big I look in this video I just wanted to get him on video and it is very hard when I am doing it myself. Also sorry that it is sideways.

I went to the Dr. yesterday for an ultrasound. The babies are growing great. Baby 'A' is estimated 3lb 3oz and baby 'B' is estimated 3lb 7oz. The Dr. said he sees no reason for me not to go at least 36 weeks. That is my goal, so I can start the school year and get things set for my sub.
I didn't really feel like scanning in all of the pictures separately.

A new spot for baths

Lately the boys have been feeding themselves in their highchairs. The only problem with that is, they love to run their fingers through their hair after a few bites. Their bodies are staying clean, but their hair is getting really sticky and dirty. I went to give them a bath and I wanted it to be a quick one. The sink is really easy but I have to fill it twice and make sure the temperature is good twice. We decided to give them a bath in the real tub last night and they loved it. They splashed and slid around. Michael cried when Tim got him out and didn't stop crying until I got Matt finished and dressed.
