Matthew and Michael Baptism

I tried posting this on Tuesday, but my school computer wouldn't let me switch the pictures around so I was going to do it at home and I forgot. So the pictures are out of order, but they are still really cute. I also got the boys 3 month pictures.
This weekend, Tim and I had so much going on. We still didn't have costumes yet for our Halloween party on Saturday, so we went shopping all night. I cooked as much stuff as I could for Sat. and Sunday.
Saturday, Tim had had to work until 1pm so I took the boys with me to go shopping and then to Aunt Jane's house for a little bit while I picked up some pretzels from Gus'. Thank you for watching them. We had Anthony's first birthday party from 1-3, then I had to go home and cook some more. Our party started at 8pm but some showed up early. No biggy, but I was a little rushed tryinig to get things ready for Sunday too. A lot of people showed up, of course it was the majority of our families, but that is who we really hang out with. I didn't get to take any pictures, at least with my own camera. Since I copy so much off of Chrissy, Tim and I bought a camera that looks just like theirs, so I picked it up and started taking pictures with it. I hope everyone had a good time. Tim and I finally got to bed around 3am and the boys woke up at 7:30am.
Sunday was the boys baptism, they did really good. When the priest was blessing them with the Holy Water Michael let out a little cry, but not to much. Matt really liked it. I think it is because they like their baths so much, when I actually have time to give them one. They were good all day. Tim and I even got to nap from 5-8 that night. We were exhausted.

I think it's wonderful that so many friends and family went to witness the babies' Baptisms. It was beautiful. And the celebration afterwards was too. Good food.

The pics are so cute. Wish I could have been there. Me and Justin carved pumpkins, that about it. I went to a work party last weekend and today we all dressed up in the pharmacy. Tonight we watched Halloween H2O and Sleepy Hollow...while the pumpkins sat on the TV.
This was the first Halloween of my life that I wasn't cold during--it was 92 today...and in the 60's now.

Had to see the pictures again. I especially like the one of Matthew looking at the deacon as he puts Chrism on his chest. He is beautiful. (They both are)

I was so glad I got to be there for both the party and the Baptism. I had a great time at both. The boys are so cute. I love those baptism gowns, where did you get them?! I have to say your potatoes were the best that I've ever tasted. And lastly, don't Chrissy and I look alike on that family picture. Of course I look a lot older, but Chrissy, can probably guess what she's going to look like in about 12 years. Love you guys, Jackie

Fun party, good Baptism, good food. I have their gift ready now...maybe they'll actually get it tomorrow :) They were good for the ceremony.

We do look alike in that picture....I hope to look as good as you in 12 years...and I hope my face gets skinnier like yours :)

The 3 mos pics turned out good too. I wish I could have seen which ones you picked out, except for dumb security reasons, they wouldn't let me get them! I'm glad that wasn't the only reason I went out there.

The Halloween party was fun. But it's always stressful trying to get things ready. And you are trooper for doing the boys' baptism the day after!
